Rugby World Cup 2015 grips rugby fans Worldwide and Amayse are proud to have helped make it happen

The challenge

As England played host to the world’s top 20 rugby teams in the most prestigious of rugby tournaments, we created the ultimate experience for the players’ journey at each venue.  From their arrival at the stadium, the walkways and changing rooms, coin toss carpets and the tunnel before entering the pitch for the biggest showcase in rugby there is. This was the world’s greatest rugby competition and we were with the players every step of the way.

Amayse were tasked to install branding at all 13 venues, from Newcastle down to Brighton, including some of the world’s most renowned stadiums including Twickenham, Wembley, Olympic Park, Millennium and the Etihad Stadium.  All branding was not only venue specific but also game specific, which meant bespoke artwork and intense production, all up against extremely tight deadlines.

The solution

Our team is world class too, for the Rugby World Cup 2015 we worked to incredibly short timescales, particularly when turning around football venues from Premiership Football into the distinctive Rugby World Cup branding. We had a team of 16 working around the clock, including project managers, graphic designers, print and production crew, carpenters and experienced signage fitters.  Often working at height throughout venues, Health and Safety was paramount and careful planning was required in order to get the job done safely, professionally and to the high standards that we pride ourselves on at Amayse.

The outcome

We were extremely proud to be part of this Rugby World Cup on home soil.  It was a once in a lifetime opportunity and the whole team worked incredibly hard to make it such a success from a branding perspective.  The stadiums all looked superb and feedback from sponsors and the various competition organisers was fantastic.
